The Infield Campground is the most popular option for die-hard race fans who want to be right in the heart of the action. Located inside the Speedway, this campground places you just steps away from the racetrack. It offers both RV and tent camping, with full-hookup RV sites that include water, electricity, and sewer, as well as tent sites with nearby water access. Restrooms, showers, and 24/7 security are available to ensure a safe and comfortable experience.

The infield provides an electric atmosphere, with fans often setting up elaborate tailgate setups and gathering for social events. This is the spot for those who want to immerse themselves fully in the NASCAR experience. However, it can get quite lively, with parties and celebrations leading up to the race.

Grounds campsites

The Grounds campsites (also known as GEICO Grounds) are located just outside the infield, near the backstretch and Turn 4. While it’s still within walking distance of the track, it offers a bit more space and a somewhat quieter environment compared to the infield. This campground is RV-only, with full-hookup sites that provide water, electricity, and sewer. There are also restrooms, showers, and security on-site. Fans here can enjoy easy access to all the race events while being a little removed from the louder crowds in the infield. Shuttle buses are available to help fans get to and from the track.
