The seating map at Daytona International Speedway offers a variety of seating options for fans attending the Daytona 500 and other events. The layout of the stadium is designed to give fans different experiences based on their seating preferences.
The 100 Level seats, often referred to by longtime fans as “the chairs,” are positioned in rows 1 through 38. These are the least expensive assigned seats for the Daytona 500, offering a fantastic vantage point close to the track. Despite being in the lower rows, there are no visual obstructions thanks to the elevation of the seating, which places fans 10-15 feet above the track. For fans who want to be right next to the heart of the action without breaking the bank, the 100-level seats are a fantastic option.
The 300 Level seats, spanning rows 1 through 22, are also known as “the boxes,” though they are not traditional enclosed boxes. Positioned higher up, they provide an excellent perspective of the cars racing around the entire track. This level offers an ideal combination of proximity to the action and an elevated vantage point. Some of the best 300-level seats can be found in sections 340 to 362, located directly in front of the pit area, ensuring fans have an outstanding view of both the race and the pit stops. For those seeking value, the Pit In or Pit Out sections—spanning 362 to 358 and 344 to 340—are highly recommended, as they are strategically located on either side of the central sections.
The 400 Level seats, also called “Tower Seats,” are situated in rows 23 through 40 and offer one of the most expansive views at Daytona. From this height, fans can see not just the entire track but miles beyond it in all directions. These seats are perfect for those who enjoy a panoramic perspective and want to take in the broader atmosphere of the event. Starting at row 23 and extending to row 40, the 400 Level offers an elevated experience, allowing fans to see every turn and straightaway of the iconic speedway.
